Information & Rules
- All entries must be postmarked by the deadline date of .August 7, 2009.
- Acceptable formats for screener submission include (NTSC no PAL can be accepted) VHS , MiniDVor DVD. Materials will not be returned unless you specify that you would like your screener to be returned and you include a "postage paid self addressed package" for your return.
- All films that are not in English must have English language subtitles.
- Entry Fees must be payable to "Silk City Flick Fest" by check, money order or PayPal. Fees from outside the US must be payable in US funds. No cash is allowed!
- Only submissions with completed entry form and entry fee will be accepted.
- If you have listed a valid email address we will verify that we have received your entry.
- Return requests must include prepaid packaging and postage.
- Short films must be no longer than 30 minutes.
- Student film submissions must include a copy of a current student ID.
- Connecticut Films must be shot in CT, directed/written/produced by a CT resident or feature a CT resident in a lead role.
- Releases for music and talent must be obtained by the filmmaker. The Silk City Flick Fest is not liable for copyright infringement or unauthorized use.
- If your film has been selected to be screened at SCFF we ask that it not be viewable in its entirety on sites like MySpace or YouTube before the festival screening. Trailers or clips from the film are acceptable.
- The Silk City Flick Fest does not assume any liability for damage to films, videos, or publicity materials.
- Please DO NOT SEND MASTER!
